Support the independent voice of Dallas and help keep the future of Dallas Observer free.
Well, now we know why Kate Hudson was cheering her head off for the Golden State Warriors Thursday night in Oakland: The Almost Famous actress is old friends with Baron Davis.
"You just always knew that he was going to do something special," actress Kate Hudson said in the Warriors locker room after they closed out the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday. Hudson was a classmate of Davis' at Santa Monica's Crossroads School. "So this doesn't surprise me all. He was meant to do this."
I had no idea Baron Davis was such a fancy-pants. But that still doesn't explain Kate Hudson's boyfriend's behavior Thursday night. --Robert Wilonsky
