Sunday's flood waters left an odd deposit along Turtle Creek: a 55-gallon barrel of oil jammed into a tree about 15 feet above the ground, and it's dripping its contents into another barrel. Officials charged with cleaning up with the mess say they have no idea where the barrel came from, and at this very moment they're lowering the barrel to the ground so they can cart it away. Till then, passersby should get a whiff of the fumes, so you might want to stay away for awhile to protect those brain cells. Or not.
