Spend 30 Minutes in Jubilee Park

A long while ago I made mention of a forthcoming doc about St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church's efforts in cleaning up and rebuilding Jubilee Park near Fair Park. Then I forgot all about it, till a Friend of Unfair Park sent along this reminder: The 30-minute feature has since been posted, and it's on the other side. There's also a short follow-up about Assistant City Attorney Maureen Milligan, the community prosecutor tasked with "trying to improve the community by hooking people up with city services and stare services so that the community can become safer."

Speaking of Jubilee Park, Daniel tells me this a.m. that the Dallas Independent School District's still working with residents furious over efforts to displace them for pennies on the dollar, if that, to make way for a new-and-improved O.M. Roberts. Probably a few months away yet from any kind of resolution.
