Texas Congressman Randy Neugebauer Tells Park Ranger She Should Be "Ashamed" for Enforcing Shutdown

Randy Neugebauer, a Republican congressman from West Texas, didn't have work yesterday. So he went to the park. Unfortunately, the park was closed.

Neugebauer was confused.

"How do you deny them access?" Representative Neugebauer asked the park ranger. They were standing outside of the World War II Memorial in Washington, D.C.

Tourists were stuck waiting outside. The park rangers agreed to let only WWII vets enter.

"I don't get that," added Representative Neugebauer, looking more adorable and naive by the minute. "Park Service should be ashamed of themselves."
