Support the independent voice of Dallas and help keep the future of Dallas Observer free.
Abacus' Chef de Cuisine Tré Wilcox, booted way too early from Top Chef back in August, has nonetheless been regularly providing the Bravo site with recipes for its "Football Foodies" page -- like this week's recipe for Beer Braised Sirloin Chili. Sounds good -- good and complicated.
Wilcox will also join cheftestants from past Top Chef seasons tonight at 8, when Bravo airs its Holiday Special cook-off. A warning to them who frown upon the spoiler: The cable net aired the special at midnight last night, and if you click through the link you'll find out who won the 20 thou -- and who got the proverbial lump o' coal. --Robert Wilonsky

But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism.
