Support the independent voice of Dallas and help keep the future of Dallas Observer free.
If you're planning to fly American Airlines in to or out of Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport today, well, no, you're not. Friend of Unfair Park Tim Wagner, the Voice of American Airlines, was just on KRLD-AM (1080), where he said the airline has canceled its full schedule of flights to and from DFW -- so, ya know, happy spring break and all. Wagner also said, according to the Associated Press account, that "it could take a day or two for American to return to its normal schedule." Also noted: "Wagner said swirling winds had forced the evacuation of one of DFW's two air traffic control towers for about 10 minutes" this morning. --Robert Wilonsky
