You know what Dallas needs? A weekly indoor marketplace connecting local artisans with potential clients that also promises free beer and wine. You know what Dallas is getting? Bingo.

This upcoming three-day weekend is full of promise, but none as big as the Dallas Handmade Arts Market Grand Opening on Saturday morning at 327 Cole St. Each weekend, local artists will rent booths (guaranteeing a flow that keeps things fresh) and guests are invited to browse from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays. Oh wait, did we hear free beer? Saturdays will feature a "Wine Walk" from 5 to 7 and Sundays a "Beer Browse" where you can get your paws on some complimentary tipple while supplies last.

Local artists, huh? Sounds a little generic. Director of Marketing, Danielle Glick, just happened to snap some photos at Sunday night's artist meet-and-greet. Why don't we introduce you to a few of these folks and their wares?
