Hey, downtowners! If you need a little mental break to help you through your hump day, or if you've just always wanted to hear what kind of sounds that gargantuan pipe organ housed inside the Meyerson Symphony Center can create, there is a FREE organ recital today at 12:30pm.

Dallas Symphony resident organist, Mary Preston, will perform a short, 30 minute recital on the impressive Lay Family Concert Organ. You can soak up the sounds of 4,535 pipes in a state of the art concert hall and still have time to grab lunch! If you don't have to rush back to work, complementary tours of the center will be conducted at 1pm following the recital. You can read more about the organ here. Event details here.
