The calendar's date is usually arbitrary when retro movie screenings are concerned. But in the case of Camp Crystal Lake, Friday the 13th is the only day that really matters.

The Alamo Drafthouse keeps an eye on such things and it saw today as an opportunity for a sort-of film dare, so they're screening the original Friday the 13th tonight.

But are you brave enough to face Jason around the holidays?

Avoid the plague of Nutcrackers and tinsel and go see the slasher classic that made watching teenager stabbings oddly enjoyable. (Who knew there were so many ways to get hacked-up and disemboweled? It's endless!)
