This three-day event runs from Thursday to Saturday at the Frisco Discovery Center and features everything from improv to stand up to comedy workshops. Thursday even features a comedy contest, like Battle of the Bands, but less guitar smashing and more mind blowing. Most shows are 17+, but kids will get their chance on Saturday with improv shows and workshops. Tickets are available online

Do you own truck nuts? C'mon, fess up. Well, whether you own them or love making fun of them, you should check out Bill Engvall at Bass Performance Hall this Sunday. Bill delivers anecdotes and one-liners about trucks, hunting, beer, and everything else that Southerners love. Tickets are available online

Actor and comedian Cedric the Entertainer, one of the original Kings of Comedy, will be in Grand Prairie this Saturday. The show is open to all ages, but do you really wanna bring your kids? We didn't think so. Tickets are available online, but hurry -- they're going fast.

So you think you're funny, eh? Think you can do better than most comics on stage? Well, come prove it at The Heckler Show this Thursday at Dallas Comedy House. Comedians get up on stage to perform their sets, and for just $5, you get to heckle the comic of your choice. Heartwarming! The show starts at 9:30 p.m., but be sure to get there early if you want to be a heckler. Bring your best trash talk and throw down.

So if you were a woman living in New York City and in need of some extra cash, where would you turn? Well, for Lauren and Katie, starting their own phone sex line sounded just perfect. Starring Lauren Miller and Ari Graynor, alongside Justin Long, Kevin Smith and Seth Rogen, this comedy shows just how far a couple of gals are willing to go to keep their fabulous NYC apartment. Playing now.
