Gonzalez Restaurant

Since 1973, Gonzales Restaurant has been dishing out traditional Tex-Mex and Mexican eats in a festive setting. There is a blue-tile bar and Southwestern geometric designs decorate the walls with colors straight out of a Frida Kahlo painting. Patrons dine on lengua almendrada, cabrito guisado, nopalitos con puerco and other house favorites as well as the critically recognized tortillas, all under curled streamers hanging from the ceiling.
