Texas Campaign for the Environment Celebrates 25 Years of Working Toward Zero Waste Join the Texas Campaign for the Environment celebrate their 25th anniversary at the first ever ”Zero Waste Party”. The event takes place on Sunday, April 3, 2016 from 4 – 7 p.m. The location of the party is the Sean Fitzgerald Studio at 2814 Canton Street in Deep Ellum. Tickets are $25 each. Featured speakers include Ben Sandifer and Cherelle Blazer. They will highlight efforts to protect the Great Trinity Forest and reduce air pollution in DFW. Denton-based 432 Hertz Ensemble will perform live Afro-Beat music. Raffle tickets will be available at the event. Prizes include: an Omni Hotel package and Texas Rangers tickets. Recycling and composting services will be provided by Recycle Revolution, making this truly a zero waste event.
