The Usual

Fort Worth's bike-friendly Fairmount Neighborhood on West Magnolia is one of the hipper places to hang out in Cowtown, thanks in part to The Usual, one of the few bars west of Dallas to offer a drink menu of classic and Prohibition-era cocktails. The bar's interior has a modern, minimalist design with raw wood walls and chairs, and a marbled, stained concrete floor. Unlike most of the surrounding Fort Worth bars, The Usual has a strict non-smoking policy, but the narrow patio in the back offers plenty of space for folks who need a smoke to accompany their drink, in addition to a place to lock up their bikes while enjoying an Old Fashioned or a Moscow Mule.
