We've been following Club Dada's progress fairly closely ever since City Tavern owner Josh Florence and some investors announced plans to buy and renovate the iconic Deep Ellum venue.

Florence, you may recall, was set to open the club back in November, but due to some "red tape," was forced to postpone the club's grand re-opening -- which brings us to this weekend, where Club Dada plans to celebrate New Year's Eve with a grand opening party featuring Telegraph Canyon, Air Review and Smile Smile.

But, judging by the above photo, posted today on Club Dada's Facebook page, there's still a lot of work to do before they open their doors on Friday night. Honestly, we wouldn't be surprised if there's still paint drying during that show's sound check.

Nevertheless, the show must go on. In fact, the folks at Dada have already listed a handful of shows coming to the space in the next few weeks. Check those out after the jump.
