Okay, we've kept you waiting long enough here. St. Patrick's Day is less than two weeks away, which means the Dallas Observer's annual luck o' the Irish party is right around the corner as well. But so far we've only announced the headliner, which is of course Texas native Josh Abbott Band. Well, this morning we're excited to announce that the rest of our St. Paddy's lineup is officially booked, and let's just say it follows in much the same country music vein.

We're also pleased to say that the Texas natives theme continues as well. Leading off the rest of the artists that we've added to the show is Houston's Cory Morrow. Like Josh Abbott, Morrow is a standout of Texas country and red dirt music; in fact, both artists were featured on our recent list of the 50 Best Red Dirt Texas Country Songs, so we think pretty highly of each of their work.
Morrow, of course, has been at it a little while longer than Abbott, and he's been around the block plenty as well. It's been about a decade now since he disavowed drinking (a fact we fully commend him for), but that won't take anything away from his ability to get the party started on St. Pat's. Between Morrow and Abbott, it should be a pretty mean one-two punch.
The other three bands on the bill continue the country theme and bring the day even closer to home. Tyler and the Tribe hails from not too far away in Sulphur Springs, while Ray Johnston Band and Breaking Southwest both hail from Dallas-Fort Worth.
