We've been pretty much dying here at DC9 HQ, sitting on this information, just waiting to put it out there for you. And now the higher-ups have given us the green light. You ready? Better be.

On July 17, we'll be hosting our the fourth annual showcase for our Dallas Observer Music Awards (the awards themselves are heading into their 22nd year), and to celebrate, we're going pretty gosh darn big: We'll be hosting 40+ DOMAXXII-nominated acts at six venues in Deep Ellum (The Prophet Bar, The Door, Trees, La Grange, The Bone and Reno's Chop Shop Saloon) on Saturday, July 17. Those stages will run active with performances from 7 p.m. (or, in one case, 6 p.m.) and right on through closing time at 2 a.m. After the jump, check the tentative schedule and venue lineups for those performances.

But, in addition to all that, we're also bringing an outdoor stage to Deep Ellum. Located in the parking lot behind Trees, the stage will run from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. and feature performances from DC9 favorites and special guests The Cool Kids, The Secret Machines, Lucero and Jonathan Tyler & The Northern Lights.

Tickets (or, actually, wristbands) to the event are just $10--and they get you access to both the outdoor stage and the indoor showcase. Or another way to think of it: You're paying .21 cents per act we're bringing int. Pretty sweet deal, we think. And we couldn't be happier to present it to you. Get your tickets here, at the freshly purchased DallasObserverMusicAwards.com domain, and clear your schedules. It's gonna be a party.

After the jump, check the indoor performance schedule as is currently laid out.

Update (3:30 p.m. on June 28): The lineup has been updated to reflect some early changes.
