For the last, oh, I dunno, but it seems like forever, The King Bucks have managed to turn the otherwise pretty low-key Monday nights around town into something of a big deal, packing country music and drinking fans alike into Adair's Saloon at the band's weekly residency in the ol' Deep Ellum honky tonk.
Tonight that all comes to an end, though, as this will evening marks the last time--at least on any regular basis--in which the Bucks will entertain the Adair's crowds with its standard three 45-minute sets of down-home good-time country tunes on a Monday night. Starting this Sunday night, Danny Balis, Joe Butcher, Chris Carmichael, Keith Killoren and Chad Stockslager will move their residency one night up in the calendar week and about an hour's drive west, as it takes up home at the still new-ish Lola's Stockyards location.
Don't know if the fellas are planning anything special for the night, but regardles, expect a jam-packed house at Adair's this evening. Should be a good time.
