Three years after making waves with its debut 2007 EP, Golden, New York's Bear Hands has finally gone ahead and released a proper full-length album called Burning Bush Supper Club. And the four-piece's new album is an interesting one, too, delving into funk, dream pop and relatively straightforward rock 'n' roll alike -- all awash in a lo-fi sheen -- for an intoxicating blend.

Give the entire new disc a taste over on Spin.com -- it's definitely worth it. And then go check out the band tonight, when it stops through for a gig at The Nightmare. It should be a good one, too, featuring two promising local acts as the openers -- Garland's theatrically quirky Kiwi Sisters and former Sydney Confirm frontman Sean Humphrey's new electro garage pop project, Sunn Talk.

After the jump, give Sunn Talk's "Uncovered Mysteries" a much-merited listen and download. Oh, and find out how to win a free pair of passes to tonight's performances, courtesy of Parade of Flesh, which is bringing this show to town.

Want free passes to this show? OK: Just be the first person to email me, starting right now, with the words "Grin and Bear It" in the subject line. Good luck!
