Perhaps you recall the folks behind the Homegrown Festival's attempts at viral video promotion for their inaugural deal last year? Well, no surprise, they're at it again this year, as you can see in the clip above, which stars festival co-hosts Grant Jones of the festival-performing Grant Jones & The Pistol Grip Lassos and one Josh Jordan, who you may recognize as that dude who played the Polyphonic Spree member with cancer a few years back on Scrubs, this time playing a character named "Karl Wiggins," who also made an appearance at Friday's JC Experience, as if things weren't already insider-y enough.
Expect a few more of these clips to surface as the second annual Homegrown Music & Art Festival approaches -- the fest, which bands such as Neon Indian, School of Seven Bells, Astronautalis, This Will Destroy You, Slobberbone and others (although not the Riverboat Gamblers, who had to drop off the bill) takes place on Saturday, May 14, at Main Street Garden Park right smack in downtown Dallas.
