Perhaps you read Darryl Smyers' Q&A with Peter Case and are still wondering just what about the songwriter that could inspire so many other notables, including Hayes Carll, Victoria Williams and Chuck Prophet, to put together a tribute album, A Case for Case, just a few years ago. Well, you can find out for yourself tonight.

Case, a favorite of many other luminaries, including T-Bone Burnett and Loudon Wainwright III, is now in better health, following a 2009 double bypass, and touring behind his newly released Yep Roc album, Wig!, in which he was able to avail himself of the drumming services of kick-ass punk trailblazer DJ Bonebrake from X.

To be able to see this highly rated artist be fully appreciated by an intimate crowd would be quite the treat, right? Well, thanks to our friends at Yep Roc records (whose roster is likely to contain your favorite Americana artist), we have one pair of tickets to tonight's show at Dan's Silverleaf in Denton -- easily one of the ideal venues in which to enjoy Case's storytelling.
