The Laughcast this weekend looks fairly calm and breezy up toward Addison, while spotty weather prevails in Tarrant County. Dallas should see some heavy comedy cloud cover Friday and Saturday night.

First, in breaking comedy climate news: Dallas' own Raj Sharma would surely appreciate a tornado of voting activity for him on The Lucky 21's Vegas comedy contest. Sharma's a wildcard, so vote for him and help send our boy to Vegas and get him some coveted TV time. Voting ends tonight at midnight, so get on it! On to the laughcast:

Thursday: Live 105.3 morning deejay Dean Lewis headlines the Addison Improv tonight. His bio on the Improv site promises a clean show, saying: "If Eminem were a comedian, it would be nothing like this." Many of Dallas' best comedians started out in Lewis' comedy writing class, so it's a good time to go see a master at work. Show starts at 8:30 p.m.

Thursday: Stranded in Sundance Square? Good for you, and not just because it smells better than downtown Dallas. Tonight's a free comedy show at Hyena's Fort Worth. Todd Yohn headlines and local guy Mark Agee features. There's still a two-item minimum, but that'll make the after-show open mike worth sticking around for. Cheap drinks make trainwrecks go down smoooooooth. Show's at 8:30 p.m.

Friday/Saturday: Best bet is the Backdoor Comedy Club, a whirlwind line-up of new and seasoned locals. Guaranteed laughs. Ten bucks. Show's at 9 p.m., and the club's at the Doubletree Hotel at Central Expressway and Caruth Haven.

Friday/Saturday: This Todd Yohn guy continues his run in Fort Worth at Hyena's all weekend at shows you'll have to pay to get into. According to his bio on the Hyena's site, he's got a song called "The Feminine Hygiene Song," which gives me a not-so-fresh feeling. However, local guy Richard Houghton opens, which is cool. Sadly, I'm equally suspect of the Hyena's Arlington show, which features a guy nicknamed "Mudflap." But I'm willing to be proven wrong, so if you see the show and got your face mudflapped off with funny, let me know.

Saturday: Local comic Paul Varghese headlines the Addison Improv's 11 p.m. show. Also featuring Mark Agee and Aaron Aryanpur. There's a two item minimum, plus, I've been warned that you may lose your panties. So bring extra. -- Andrea Grimes
