Tomorrow night may be Friday the 13th, but there's nothing altogether frightening about this design from Dallas-based graphic designer Antonio F. Mondragon-Becker aimed at promoting a Kessler Theater bill featuring Zoe Keating and Tiger Darrow.
Instead, it's just a crisp, two-color offering that gets right to the
heart of the show's offering, thanks to a clever main image that depicts
a head unraveling into a string that takes the form of a cello toward
the bottom of the design. That much makes sense: Keating's a cellist --
it's her bit. And, smartly, that's what this poster highlights, while
also indicating the cerebral nature of her offerings.
Just a well-thought-out and well-executed design. Nice stuff.
