In this week's paper, which is almost out (but not quite), Eric Grubbs talks to the Double Wide's Chelsea Callahan and Kim Finch about their venue's annual post-Warped Tour party, which, this year, will celebrate its fourth year of existence and second as an open-to-the-public affair.

Unfortunately, before press time came and went, the lineup of performers at this year's Saturday night affair had yet to be determined. Well, now it has: Denton ex-pats The Riverboat Gamblers, who are playing earlier in the day as part of the official Warped Tour bill, will also play the Double Wide party. Opening for them? Local tattoo artist Oliver Peck's all-drag Ramones cover band, The Ramonahs.

It's a major coup for the event, as anyone who's ever seen the Gamblers' visceral live show can attest to. It's really, truly, a sight to be seen folks.

Especially now, too. Since, as the header for this here post implies, the Gamblers have a crap-ton going on at the moment.

For one, they've released their "Robots May Break Your Heart" single (watch the video here) as a free download available on their web site. There, they're also releasing the song's stem pack for download and asking other musicians, DJs, et al, to remix their track as part of a contest in which the winner receives a portable terabyte, $1,000 in clothes and a signed copy of their Underneath the Owl album. A few remixes have already been posted and aren't too bad actually.

But wait! There's more! The Gamblers also recently recorded a Daytrotter session worth your free download. And, if you're a Mac user, well you're in even more luck: The band just released an iPhone App.

The gamblers are more like high rollers these days, turns out.
