As we mentioned yesterday, the South by Southwest spillover effect has reached our beloved record store Good Records. And this evening, before he performs a full blown electric show at The Loft, Mike Watt will be over at Good for what he calls a "hoot & spiel," more commonly known as a question and answer session. The Q&A starts at 6 p.m., and as with all Good Records in-stores, it will be free to attend. Hey, they might even have a keg of cold beer tapped.

And, at the Kessler Theater, where manager Jeff Liles works seemingly around the clock to make sure the greatness of Dallas music history is not forgotten, Ghostcar, Yells At Eels, and Regina Chellew will perform on Saturday, April 23. New Fumes mastermind Daniel Huffman was in Ghostcar, and the band will reunite to perform with Oak Cliff Jazz family Yells At Eels, and former Captain Audio singer Regina Chellew.
