Sigur Rós Monday, April 8, at Verizon Theatre, $42.75 In a follow-up to their run of summer festivals, Sigur Rós have announced their largest North American tour to date, set to kick off next spring. Although the Icelandic band put out its most ambient-leaning album, Valtari, earlier this year, the tour will feature brand new material.

Of Mice & Men Tuesday, January 22, at Trees, $17 Southern California metalcore foursome Of Mice & Men are hitting the road again after the re-release of their 2011 sophomore album The Flood. They've made no mention of a new album, but my guess is that they'll whip out some heavy new material.

Old 97's Thursday, February 21, at Granada Theater, $34 Dallas' own will blaze a trail through their vast catalog. Solo sets from Salim Nourallah and Old 97's frontman Rhett Miller will start the show, where there are sure to be dozens of familiar Dallas faces.

Dropkick Murphys Thursday, February 26, at House of Blues, $27.50 Fifteen-year-old Irish-punk band Dropkick Murphys are headed back to Dallas in support of their eighth full-length, Signed and Sealed in Blood, set to release in early 2013. There is never a dull moment at the seven-piece band's rowdy shows. You may or may not get an elbow to the temple, but you will almost certainly get drenched in Guinness.

35 Denton Thursday, March 7-Sunday, March 10, in Denton's Downtown Square Another round of acts have been dispatched from the 35 Denton music machine, and of today's announcements, Chelsea Light Moving is a pretty exciting one. It's a new band led by Thurston Moore, and they're currently working on a debut for Matador Records. Others announced include Killer Mike, Silver Apples, Emeralds, White Lung, Soul Clap Dance Off, Poolside, Antwon, The Coathangers, Shannon and the Clams, Delicate Steve, Idiot Glee, Fossil Collective, Buxton, Audacity, Gary War, You Won't, Hey Marseilles, The Last Bison, Destruction Unit, Roomrunner, Mind Spiders and How I Quit Crack.

Bon Jovi Thursday, April 11, at American Airlines Center Tickets go on sale Dec. 3 for Bon Jovi's "Because We Can" tour, which will trek along three continents and eventually make a pit-stop in Dallas next spring. The 59-date tour will debut songs from their upcoming album What About Now, although if you're an old-school fan, you're promised the old B.J. hits as well.
