Two weeks ago today, the Foo Fighters released their seventh studio album, Wasting Light, a disc that has fans going bonkers and critics continuing to hail the band as one of the great rocks acts of its generation.
Deservedly so: Recorded in Foo leader Dave Grohl's garage -- despite the band having easy access to a number of professional recording studios, including Grohl's own home studio -- the album has a distinct back-to-basics appeal.
So, too, does the band's promotion for the release: As part of a Blackberry-backed contest, the band is currently in the throes of a short five-city tour that finds them playing small, private shows in contest winners' garages. Today, the band will be Dallas, performing at some lucky local's home. You're not invited.

Based on a recent set list from a Yonkers, New York, garage show, it looks like the band is performing Wasting Light in order and in its entirety, followed by three other Foo
