Have you been to Patio Sessions at AT&T Performing Arts Center yet? Best get thee there before the weather goes from pleasant to "blow dryer on full blast immediately in your face when you walk out the door." The event is free and you can bring booze. It's the simple things in life, really.

Tonight, Telegraph Canyon's Chris Johnson and Ryan Thomas Becker of RTB2 join forces to acoustically rock you, starting at 5:30 p.m. Also, head over to the DC9 At Night booth and register to win tickets to Homegrown Fest, which is fast approaching Memorial Day weekend and boasts an all-Texas lineup including Hayes Carll, the Mohicans, Ume and Octopus Project. Our Rock the Park finals go down this Saturday at the Shops at Park Lane, and it's down to Catamaran, the Breakfast Machine and the Madisons. The winner goes on to open the fest.

Oh, there will also be a basketball shoot-off between sets. If you win, you'll get some tickets to Homegrown Fest. Go check out the scene and vote. Democracy! Rock! Dem-rock-cracy!
