Local alt-country singer-songwriter Nicholas Altobelli has just completed work on The Regulator, his third effort, due out in April of next year.
Besides finishing off the new album, though, Altobelli's been busy scheduling shows and other appearances throughout January to help promote the release. Beyond a slew of shows around the area, Altobelli will also appear on The Good Show on KTCU-88.7 FM on January 16th. And, to further help folks understand what a quality songwriter the young Altobelli really is, the singer is offering listeners a pretty sweet deal.
And here it is: He'll send a free sample of his earlier work to anyone who takes the time to send him an email. Shoot Albtobelli an email at this address--and be sure to include your own shipping address--and he'll, in return, send a sample, four-song CD from Altobelli's first two efforts, Waiting For the Flowers to Bloom and Dog Years.
Judging by how quickly Altobelli's songwriting has matured, The Regulator (despite the title) could well be the singer-songwriter's best effort to date. Fans of Ryan Adams and Murry Hammond would do well to send Altobelli an email. And besides, who couldn't use a free CD these days?
