Well, this above clip is a nice treat. Featuring Dallas' own Ben Curtis and his School of Seven Bells bandmates the Deheza sisters, this nicely shot piece shows the New York-based three-piece on tour Down Under, going even farther under, performing an acoustic take of its song "Dust Devil" in a Sydney subway station for the always consistent Shoot The Player team.

Per the Shoot the Player-penned back story, It's the first time the band's performed the song--normally an ethereal take like the rest of the band's catalog--sans electronics. And the performance wasn't without its miscues--although not from the band, but from poor communication between the videographers and station security. Indeed, it all worked out well in the end; the band's offering is a fine one.

Expect a louder one, though, on Wednesday, October 8, when the band stops through Denton for a gig at Hailey's Club in support of its excellent, July-released Disconnect From Desire.
