The News has a front-page piece this morning on the Snowball Express, which landed at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport yesterday, bringing with it 1,300 kids from all over the world who've lost a parent serving in the U.S. armed forces since 2001. Theirs is a busy itinerary: Southfork Ranch, a meet-and-greet with the Dallas Cowboys and the cheerleaders, a visit with Mayor Tom Leppert at Dallas City Hall and, on Saturday, a private concert from my baby bro's bud, Gary Sinise.
Snowball Express, based here, is documenting their visit on its YouTube page; so too is USFallen.org, which provides the short film above scored to Vince Guaraldi.
