After months of negotiations with almost every station on the dial, your Dallas Cowboys have announced this afternoon they've found a new radio home on KDBN-FM (93.3), better known as The Bone, and KTCK-AM (1310), or The Ticket, both of which currently fall under the Susquehanna Radio umbrella. The partnership, which will last at least five years, makes sense: The Ticket's morning-show co-host George Dunham is already the public-address announcer at Texas Stadium during Cowboys games. Cowboys game have aired on KLUV-FM (98.7) since 2001, and when their contract expired at the end of last season, owner Jerry Jones held talks with ESPN Radio's local affiliate and KZPS-FM (92.5), and he even considered buying his own station. "We're here for the dynamic impact this organization has made...on sports," Jones said during the 5 p.m. press conference. "We're gonna team up this team called the Dallas Cowboys with this entity we call The Ticket and The Bone and make it bigger than even its players could imagine...The more people we can get listening to The Ticket and The Bone the better off we all are."--Richie Whitt
