That's what we gather by looking at the pics sent to us by Kurt Watkins, cousin and PR man to Dallas County District Attorney Craig Watkins. Kurt also sends word that Craig endorsed Democratic gubernatorial primary frontrunner Bill White on Thursday, and the DA subsequently began campaigning for White during a Democratic precinct chair dinner Friday night at Saint Martin's Place -- a short walk from Watkins's campaign office near Fair Park. Watkins and White were accompanied by Clay Jenkins, who Watkins has endorsed in the Democratic primary for county judge over incumbent Jim Foster and Dallas County Schools board president Larry Duncan.

Watkins says his endorsement of White is a "no-brainer" (ya think?) and claims the former Houston mayor is the only candidate in the race who recognizes "the needs of the diverse electorate in Texas."

As for Jenkins, who has nabbed endorsements from Eddie Bernice Johnson, Royce West, John Wiley Price, Willis Johnson and, heck, even Craig Holcomb, we're still trying to figure out why the powerful folks South of the Trinity decided to coalesce behind a personal injury lawyer who spent most of his life in Ellis County.

More photos from Friday night after the jump.
