Interested in franchising a Which Wich? Because according to the sandwich-makin' chain's Web site, you need about half a mil, at minimum, to open a location -- but it oughta be worth it, insists the NY-based site RestaurantChains.net. Says here that Jeff Sinell's chain of eateries -- which opened its first location in 2004, near Pegasus Plaza downtown -- is at the very top of the list of "the fastest growing restaurant chain concepts with 50 operating stores or less," with its 75-percent growth over the last four months alone So, as the founder of Genghis Grill told the paper version of Unfair Park way back when, perhaps he'll get Which Airlines off the ground sooner than later.

In related news, Dallas-based Cantina Laredo (a Consolidated Restaurant Operations, Inc. property) and Antonio Swad's Pizza Patron are among "the fastest-growing up-and-coming restaurant chains in America," according to Restaurant Business. Now all Which Wich? has to do is start taking pesos, then it'll really be on to something. --Robert Wilonsky
