The woman at right is Eileen Loskot, a 54-year-old woman last seen leaving her job -- somewhere in the 2300 block of Reagan Street, between Harry Hines Boulevard and the Dallas North Tollway -- a little after 1 this morning in her red 2004 Infiniti G35. At 12:07 this afternoon, the Dallas Police Department sent word that it believed she "may have been a victim of a kidnapping." A few minutes later it updated the bulletin: "Detectives are now working this as an active kidnapping." In advance of a 1 p.m. press conference during which further information will be released, the department is asking for the public's assistance in finding Loskot.
Says the release, she was last seen driving away this morning -- "however it is not known where the possible abduction may have taken place." She's five-foot-five, weighs 150 pounds, and has brown eyes and brown hair. DPD's asking anyone who knows anything about what's become of Loskot to call Crimes Against Persons Division at (214) 671-3584.
Update: The News has an update detailing the events that took place shortly after Loskot, a Denton County resident, was abducted and, apparently, forced to withdraw money from an ATM in Cedar Hill. The Double Oak Police Department has also issued this release: "Evidence developed during the investigation strongly indicates that Eileen Loskot has been taken by two unknown male suspects and is being held against her will."
