Update at 2:45 p.m.: Deion has reportedly been unfired.

Update on October 11: Prime Prep Academy, the charter school that Deion Sanders co-founded, has fired Deion Sanders.

The announcement comes in a terse press release from superintendent Rachel King-Sanders.

"Effective immediately, Deion Sanders is no longer an employee or representative for Prime Prep Academy," she wrote.

This comes on the heels of allegations that Sanders assaulted the school's chief financial officer and his disparagement of co-founder D.L. Wallace as a "snake."

Cue Deion's self-righteous tweets in 3, 2, 1...

Original post:Things got a little heated yesterday during an after-school faculty meeting at the Dallas campus of Prime Prep Academy. An employee, Kevin Jefferson, told police that he'd been attacked during the meeting by an administrator, who grabbed him by the collar and pushed him into the wall.

A police report describing the incident identifies the administrator only as "suspect," but in an interview with The Dallas Morning News, Jefferson says it was Mr. Prime Prep himself, Deion Sanders.

"I'm going to pursue my options with my attorney," he told The Dallas Morning News. "I just think it's unacceptable in a professional environment particularly at a school for that kind of behavior to go on."

Sanders told Brett Shipp he didn't touch Jefferson.

Update: Sanders is now giving his side of the story on Twitter, which consists of a shot at Jefferson and a vague platitude punctuated by "Truth."
