If yer still around and so interested, I'll be on KTCK-AM (1310, The Ticket) 'round 6:30ish this evening to discuss the AFI Dallas fest with "The Hardline." Only two weeks after the fest started and three days after it ended, but, hey, content over clock, dig? Besides, joining us will be producer Jeffrey Brown, whose AFI entry, Shut Up and Shoot Me, was the Narrative Feature Competition-winner -- and the recipient of $25,000 in cash courtesy Target, which asks only that you spend the loot on toilet paper and Softsoap.
Brown, it turns out, is a Czech Republic resident who used to reside in Arlington, and his best friend since kiddiehood is none other than Hardliner Corby Davidson. If nothing else, this also gives us the excuse to link to these pics of film fest juror C. Thomas Howell, who likes to talk about C. Thomas Howell. Just ask Jeffrey Brown. OK, fine, I'll ask him. --Robert Wilonsky
