Just before 2 p.m. on June 9, Kerrick Butler was shot and killed by two men inside his Northeast Dallas apartment while his 3-year-old daughter watched. An informant pinned the murder on Marquis White, the 21-year-old believed to have committed two rapes near an Audelia Road bus stop.
That lead didn't pan out and, a month on, police are still searching for the killers.
Possible Suspect Vehicle is described as a late model White Ford Crown Victoria or Mercury Grand Marquis. It is missing the left front hubcap, has dark window tint and black door handles. The front windshield on the driver's side is cracked.Suspect #1 is described as a black male, approximately 25-30 years old, 5'8", stocky build, wearing a red shirt and red ball cap.
Suspect #2 is described as a black male in his 30s, 6'00", slim build, short hair, wearing a gray or white shirt and jeans.
