Jason Schwartzman as affable a movie star as you're likely to meet -- and you're likely to meet him tonight at the Angelika Film Center in Mockingbird Station, come to think of it. It's not often an actor comes into pitch a movie after it's in theaters, but in conjunction with the release of The Darjeeling Limited, which has been playing locally for a couple of weeks, Schwartzman's coming to town for, among other things, a post-screening Q&A tonight.

The Darjeeling Limited -- starring Schwartman, Adrien Brody and Owen Wilson as brothers on a quest to find their Mommy -- opens wider on Friday. And to push a film that has opened to mixed reviews -- me, I think writer-director Wes Anderson's teetering on the precipice of self-parody -- Schwartzman will make his appearance following the 7:15 p.m. showing. And, yes, you'll have to buy tickets for the movie. (Though you can see the short "prequel," Hotel Chevalier, gratis on iTunes.) They're available at the box office, where else. I am sure questions about Rushmore will also be welcomed. Like, oh, "What's the secret, Max?" --Robert Wilonsky
