Yesterday President Obama gave four brief interviews to local television stations, among them WFAA-Channel 8, which sent Brad Watson to Washington. Their chat has become something of a national news item -- not because of what was said during the interview, during which Obama scolded Gov. Rick Perry for being a budget-balancing hypocrite, but what happened after.

As USA Today puts it: "Obama to reporter: 'Let me finish my answers' next time." Mediaite offers this: "Barack Obama Chides Local Reporter For His Interruptive And Combative Interview." I smell a Peabody. Or at least a Katie.

Update at 9 a.m.: A Friend of Unfair Park sends word that Watson's interview is now the lead item on the Drudge Report, accompanied by the all-caps headline "REPORTER TURNS AGGRESSIVE WITH OBAMA."
