From today's Boston Globe, a suggestion: "Want to get rich? Move to Texas." And while that didn't work out for some of us -- alas, perhaps that's the problem with being born here -- the paper notes that, courtesy a Salary.com report, "Plano topped a list of the best American cities in which to 'build personal wealth,'" whatever that means. Other DFW cities ranked in the 2008 Salary Value Index: Arlington (No. 34), Fort Worth (No. 38) and Dallas (at No. 45 -- right behind Newark, eww). --Robert Wilonsky
