Because till GLAAD posted this video on its YouTube channel today, we had no idea that First Baptist Church of Dallas's Robert Jeffress was among temp host Jane Velez-Mitchell's guests on CNN's Headline News denouncing same-sex marriage during a rancorous argument over Proposition 8. (Oy, is anything on cable news not rancorous?) Among Jeffress' reasons for wanting same-sex marriage banned: "Countries in Scandinavia that have embraced same-sex marriages have seen the rate of heterosexual marriages plummet to their lowest rates ... and it's destabilizing society."
