A few Friends have asked if there are any more photos of the old "endangered" Statler Hilton; turns out, sure, the National Trust for Historic Preservation always has one more to spare. And Jason Grant, who took the picture of the fire pit, also provided the text for Justin Terveen's photo essay, available on our pal's Flickr site; writes Grant, "the hotel has a good story to tell about those fast days and bright dreams of mid-century America."
