Remember that Kevin Smith-Southwest spat? Me neither. Like much of Smith's recent work, it came and went in a matter of a few days. Which hasn't stopped The New York Times from offering a sneak peek at a Sunday travel story about Southwest and other airlines' policies for those who might need more than one seat. And then there's the case of Matt Sampson and the "morbidly obese woman" he sat next to on Southwest. Is it dinner yet? ...

One Friend of Unfair Park points our direction toward Matthew Zook's look at which city likes its "escorts" the mostest. The answer: Plano! Says our Friend, "I like to think the back pages of the DO is doing its part." Fingers crossed! ...

And, after the jump, a feelgood end to the day: Rebuilding America's mini-doc about the NBA Cares All-Star Day of Service event on February 12, when Dirk Nowitzki, Sam Perkins, Gerald Wallace and a host of other recognizable all-star ballers and Mayor Tom lent a hand to help rebuild Macon Street in South Dallas.
