Mesa Energy main man T. Boone Pickens sits down today with the U.K. Guardian to discuss his investment in 500 Panhandle wind turbines, which cost, oh, 'bout $2 million each. And even the Dallas billionaire, who's about to turn 80, is mighty impressed with his $10 billion investment in the clean-energy market -- "mind-boggling," he calls it, if he does say so his own self. Only, he adds: "Don't get the idea that I've turned green. My business is making money, and I think this is going to make a lot of money." Turns out, he got the idea whilst shooting Bobwhite quail on his 68,000-acre spread. --Robert Wilonsky
