On Saturday night, the Rangers turned in yet another lackluster performance, dropping their second straight to the Toronto Blue Jays, 4-2. And yet the evening wasn't entirely a waste thanks to 10-year-old Austin Chaney, a.k.a. the Foul Ball Kid.

Watch the video above. You'll see Chaney scoop up a foul ball then, in an impromptu gesture of chivalry, turn and hand it to the ladies in the row behind him -- except the foul ball never leaves his glove. Chaney gives them a decoy he'd grabbed in his free hand.

The ladies were impressed. His mom, not so much.

"If they only knew him," she told WFAA. "He trips over the wind blowing!"
