Finally, some damn respect: While Houston hip-hop gets all the hype, Dallas rappers have been getting mere dregs of media coverage for the past several years. Things have been changing recently, however, and there's no more notable sign of an upswing in visibility than the recent success of Dallas-based rapper Steve Austin.

Austin's "Bussa Move" debuted at No. 9 on the Billboard Hip-hop Singles Chart, out-hustling Young Buck, The Game and Rich Boy, among others, for the Top Ten spot. More raw and hard-edged than the Houston sizzurp-slow flow, "Bussa Move" features Austin's smooth flow, while the year-old video, which you can check out after the jump, features his rock-hard bod. The man is more chiseled than Mount Rushmore, and good thing too, as the video centers around a strange Fight Club homage and mainly shows dudes beating the crap out of each other. Fitting imagery for a song with a rough beat and fierce lyrics. Thing is, you can bob your head to it too.

"Bussa Move" is the first single from Austin's new disc, 800 lb Gorilla, which drops April 24. --Jonanna Widner
