Oh, how Ben Kweller tries valiantly to make something out that squishy Smashing Pumpkins Siamese Dream anthem "Today." God knows it's cuter than the original -- and more decipherable. And it's more than likely the best thing about the Pumpkins trib Spin's releasing with its July issue, featuring the likes of The Bravery, Panic! At the Disco and The New Amsterdams.
