SMU just released the 2010 football schedule, and, clearly, the Christmas Miracle in Hawaii meant a little something-something when it came to the Worldwide Leader locking down dates. Because the season opens with a September 5 Sunday-afternoon showdown in Lubbock against Texas Tech -- the first of two ESPN showcases for the Mustangs this season.

The second comes 19 days later, when SMU squares off against TCU at Ford Stadium at 7 p.m. Which doesn't mean that's that: The rest of the game times are TBD, meaning, according to the SMU athletics department, "While ESPN has set the Texas Tech and TCU kick times, game times for the other 10 regular-season games have not yet been set, as more television selections may be made in the coming weeks."
