Well, there's no Shaft of Austin Powers or James Bond after all. But filmmaker Mike Jefferies has, as promised, just posted to the YouTube his short film Dear Mr Hicks, aimed at you-know-who over you-know-what. Update at 4:43 p.m.: Liverpool FC just issued a statement announcing it has found two credible buyers for the football club -- one of them, according to reports, being Boston Red Sox owner John Henry. Also, according to Liverpool FC, Hicks ain't pleased. At all. As in: "Shortly prior to the meeting, the owners - Tom Hicks and George Gillett - sought to remove Managing Director Christian Purslow and Commercial Director Ian Ayre from the Board, seeking to replace them with Mack Hicks and Lori Kay McCutcheon. This matter is now subject to legal review and a further announcement will be made in due course."
