If you haven't made plans for this week, consider your schedule completely booked now. The week-long celebration of barley wine at Flying Saucer (4821 Bass Pro Dr., Garland) kicks off tonight. Known for its high alcohol content, barley wine is a bold beer, often with either strong hops or fruit flavor. The Flying Saucer will tap a different barley wine every night, with offerings like Lagunitas Gnarley Wine tonight, Harpoon Barleywine on Thursday and Anchor Old Foghorn on Friday. Remember some of these beers have as much as 15 percent alcohol, so just a few drinks could put you over the limit or in Lake Ray Hubbard.
